I'm too lazy to squeeze toothpaste! RTX 40 notebook temporarily inactive

Time:2023-12-08

At the beginning of each year's CES exhibition, Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA update their platforms, but this time it's a bit chilly.

According to Kuai Technology, NVIDIA is expected to release the RTX 40 SUPER series desktop graphics card at CES, but there are currently no rumors of a SUPER version for mobile devices, and there will be no upgrades this year.

The announcement of XMG production in German laptops also confirms this point: in the first quarter of 2024, XMG and SCHENKER brands will not have new NVIDIA graphics card laptops, not even minor upgrades such as increasing memory capacity.

XMG also stated that Ada Lovelace will be NVIDIA's latest architecture for a long time, which indirectly confirms that the next generation Blackwell architecture is likely to not meet us until 2025.

NVIDIA is so 'lazy' that they are too lazy to even squeeze toothpaste, which is not without reason, but most importantly, there is no competitive pressure.

Although AMD has also launched the RX 7000 series laptop graphics card and recently added the flagship RX 7900M, it poses no threat to NVIDIA in terms of performance or OEM products.

Of course, this time AMD probably won't have a new laptop graphics card, but rather an RX 7800M?
